Our Story

Where Passion Meets Performance

Look, we're not your typical chain shop that treats every car the same. We started BlazeWyrm Haven because frankly, we got tired of seeing performance enthusiasts getting ripped off or dealing with folks who just didn't get it.

Back in 2013, our founder Marcus Chen was wrenching on his Supra in his buddy's garage, and honestly, it just snowballed from there. Word got around that there were some guys in East Van who actually knew their way around a turbo manifold and wouldn't charge you an arm and a leg for quality work.

Fast forward to today, and yeah, we've got a proper shop now on Kingsway, but the mindset hasn't changed. We still treat every build like it's our own ride sitting on those lifts.

Our Journey

12 years of making exhaust notes that give you goosebumps

2013

The Garage Days

Started out in a cramped two-bay garage with more dreams than square footage. Built our first custom exhaust system on a bone-stock Civic that ended up winning a local car show. That's when we knew we had something.

2016

Moving On Up

Outgrew the garage faster than expected. Found our current spot on Kingsway - six full bays, a proper dyno room, and enough space to actually walk around a lifted truck without doing the sideways shuffle.

2019

Certification Central

Got our ASE Master Tech certifications and became an official Red Seal shop. Also picked up our dyno tuning licenses. Not gonna lie, the testing was brutal, but it's made us way better at diagnosing weird electrical gremlins.

2022

Going Digital

Invested in some seriously high-tech diagnostic gear and a state-of-the-art DynoJet setup. Now we can tune everything from your grandma's Corolla to a fully built GT-R. The dyno's become a bit of an Instagram star, honestly.

2025

Today & Beyond

We're 12 years in and still stoked to come to work every day. Expanded the team to 9 full-time techs, all gearheads who actually own project cars themselves. Currently working on some wild EV conversions too - because the future's electric, but it doesn't have to be boring.

What Actually Sets Us Apart

Okay, so every shop says they're different, right? But here's the real deal with us - we're all car people first. Like, actually own project cars, go to meets, argue about oil viscosity at 2am kind of people.

Marcus still gets his hands dirty on customer builds. Our lead fabricator Jake dailies a turbocharged Miata that sounds absolutely ridiculous. And Sarah, who runs our diagnostic bay, just finished swapping an LS into her 240SX. We get it because we live it.

We're also not gonna pressure you into stuff you don't need. If your "check engine light" is just a loose gas cap, we'll tell you that instead of trying to sell you a thousand-dollar service. Novel concept, apparently.

Plus, we've got a proper coffee machine (not that gas station stuff) and a waiting area with decent WiFi. Your car's gonna be here for a few hours during a tune anyway, might as well be comfortable.
